- First, invest in some copywriting training. You want those subject lines to capture their attention. And you want to keep their attention throughout the message. These emails are going out to hundreds and even thousands of people, but you want them to sound very personal. Like you are chatting with them one on one. We won't go into copywriting now, but if you want a great book on the subject take a look at Joe Vitale's books on Hypnotic Writing. Fantastic books.
- Provide them with useful, valuable content. You don't have to try and sell to them every single email. Give them tips, facts, useful information and even free products. Maybe a free e-book, or a link to a YouTube video on a particular subject. You want to give without want. By doing that you will get without need. Be kind to your list. When you do ask them to buy something make sure that it is useful and solves their problems. Then, you are not selling, you are helping. And that makes a world of difference.
